Friendly and helpful staff, hotel was clean and very well presented, the value for money was excellent. Food was of a very high standard and the music on Saturday night was great. Thank you

A clean comfortable room. although i did find the duvet a bit on the warm side (purely a personal choice). Friendly staff throughout our nights stay. We had to ask for a anti slip mat for the shower which was provided for after contacting reception. Food offered good value - 1 point to make a note of was that the vegetables were of different sizes and some were not cooked sufficiently when cooked together (cauliflower and broccoli were almost impossible to cut through)

We met a lovely receptionist called Magella who was more than helpful. We had asked for a quiet room but regrettably what seemed like a cistern continually filling all night was very annoying and in the morning the water from the shower was not vert hot and temperature needs to be adjusted. We had lunch earlier the day before and was disappointed as the potatoes were cold so a very helpful girl had them reheated and apologised on a no of occasions. Regards Jim & Liz.

Staff were very polite and helpful… food was amazing at bar and overall prices were good and reasonable… room was clean and comfortable no complaints at all .. would definitely stay again

Ease of check-in, comfortable room, friendly staff at both dinner and breakfast. For the price, this would be hard to beat. We know about the IPAS comments, but this was never a problem for us. I'm sure we'll be back in the future.

The rooms were nice, clean and comfortable. Bathrooms ample and very clean. The food, howrver was didappointing. Botj the beef and the salmon very dry, vegetsbles without taste, apple pie mushy, strange taste and with a sloppy industrial sauce like sweetenedd mayonese. Also, the service person was wuite unfriendly and seemed stressed.

Lovely hotel in an excellent location for exploring. The food was outstanding with service to match. My only gripe is the bedroom was very hot in the night and being at the front we couldn't open the window due to the road. This didn't detract from our overall experience and will definitely be back.

Overall we enjoyed our visit, v good staff & accommodation . However there could be more choice at breakfast , more healthy cereals & a selection of bread . On our second day in our bedroom , dirty cups & glasses not cleared away & no new tea etc left for us. But we will return 👍
